We purchased a house in Velez de Benaudalla in February 2019, via Lisa and Terry from Girasol Homes. On our return home, we were utterly amazed at all that we had managed to achieve in four days. Lisa’s direction, assistance and advice that was given to us before travelling to Spain was incredible and made our visit so much easier. Once in Spain, Terry’s dedication, unwavering patience and many wise words whilst showing us around the various properties, culminated in us buying our house. For us however, choosing the house was the easy part. After having decided on the property, the guidance, support and assistance that Lisa and Terry gave us, including all of their connections, legal and financial contacts and so much more, made the “finalizing of the deal”, seem an incredibly simple process. It was a dream to return home having found a house in Spain. We realised that this was an exceptionally ambitious dream, given the time that we had in Spain, our budget and the time that it can take to find a house that one wants / that is suitable. Dear Lisa and Terry, I am writing to thank you, albeit a little late, for your most wonderful service with selling my villa in Granada, Cullar Vega. Your very friendly help cannot be matched, being all alone you were extremely helpful and comforting to me in many ways, especially with the problem I had with the measurements of my plot and house. When I was first made aware of this my immediate reaction was that this will mess things up and I would lose my buyer but you made light work of it all and took all the necessary steps for it to be resolved as quickly as possible, including all the running around with the paperwork, all I had to do was to sign the new declaration and you saw to it that it was presented to the Land Registry and liaised with my solicitor. Even on the day of completion you came and picked me up and we had a nice talk in the bar before and after the notarios procedures took place. I would most certainly recommend you to anyone I know who wants to sell their property in Spain, in fact I already have to one of my neighbours. My ladies and gentlemen, Through the mediation of Volker Runge, an employee of your company in the Algarve, we recently brought a detached house with pool and sea view in Tavira. Through advertising on the internet (when we were on holiday in Portugal) I sent an email to him if the house was still available. Within a day (Sunday) I got a response from him that the house was for sale. On Monday we made a viewing appointment with him and the house for the first time was viewed. He had to answer aall our questions from us because the real estate market in Portugal is new to us. On Friday morning, after there has been another inspection visit, we decided on the spot to buy the house. Volker carried out the commercial negotiations on behalf of us, and even agreed a discount, closed the deal and then put in motion the necessary processes: Friday an appointment arranged with the lawyer, Ricardo, where we have been authorized by the notary as the lawyer for our behalf to accompany the sale process and complete. On Sunday we all went home. During the two weeks we have been fully informed by Volker progress and reassured. The sale was completed by them in two (!) weeks and shortly after we flew back to Portugal to receive our keys. Volker has been a few times on call to help us with any tips, contacts and obligations associated with our new homeownership in Portugal. Volker has been an important part of its success: he is easily accessible, very obliging, knowledgeable and very sociable. He has won our full confidence in such an exciting process. Nothing seems too much for these two and the after sales service is a god send. They’ve helped us so much with contacts for anything and everything and just helped iron out worries and put our minds at rest. Having people in Spain who know who to call to help with everything from builders to getting a skip delivered or just pointing out where the medical centre is has been such a weight off our minds. Dear Nigel, I guess by now you will know that the sale of our properties in Montefrio (Villa Louisa & Cortijo Sophia) has been successfully completed. Completion took place at Montefrio last Thursday and all went smoothly and seamlessly. We are so pleased because, for us, it means that we can at last, move on with our lives here in the UK. My wife, Katrina and I just wanted to say that the entire experience, whilst not without a couple of hiccups, was handled with absolute professionalism throughout the whole process by Terry and Lisa. When the hiccups occurred, Lisa jumped into action to resolve them with lightning precision. (Remind me to always keep on her good side) I believe we started to advertise with you around February this year and by May, Terry and Lisa had found a buyer for us. From then on, their expert advise and help was invaluable. Trying to ensure a smooth transition between buyer and seller must sometimes be quite a juggling act but we felt very safe in their hands from start to finish. In short, we cannot speak highly enough of the way in which Girasol Homes handled the sale of our property and our thanks go to you and to Terry and Lisa in particular. Good morning. We've recently completed our Spanish house purchase (Veléz De Benaudalla, Granada) through your company and would like to say how extremely helpful and supportive Lisa Mottershead has been throughout. After searching for the best part of 2 years, we have finally purchased our ideal property. Our search probably exhausted most of the estate agents in East Algarve who, I'm sure, were convinced we were never going to find the property we wanted, and seemed unable to grasp our requirements. Not so Girasol Homes and Carsten Lutz in particular. Girasol would frequently email details of properties that they thought may suit our requirements, and Carsten was always happy to arrange viewings for us. As he understood our requirements, he was able to weed out properties that would be a waste of time for us, and provided guidance on areas we should consider.
