In a quiet street in Talara is a new house that has hardly been lived in. Casa Franc is completely ready to move into now, furniture and fittings can be purchased if so desired. A real gem of a house with a large garage and close to all amenities but apart from the hustle and bustle of the village. Talara has everything, restaurants, banks, a very good butcher at the bottom of the street, a baker and someone who purports to have been a candle-stick maker. On the ground floor of Casa Franc is a salon with a fireplace and a fully equipped modern kitchen. There is parking for three cars, a storeroom and a bathroom with an extra-large shower. On the first floor is another fully fitted modern kitchen, a salon/dining room and two terraces. On one of the terraces is the utility room with all white goods in situ. There are also two double bedrooms, both en-suite, on this floor, one with a terrace. On the second floor is another double bedroom, again en-suite and with a patio. Additionally, there is a large roof terrace running the width of the house, so plenty of outside space but none of the hassle of a garden. There is air-conditioning throughout and everything is virtually unused. There is ample provision for hot water for a house full of children and adults. Nothing seems to have been overlooked and it is the best presented house I have seen for a long while. Talara is the closest village to the motorway, only two or three minutes, so it is the most convenient of the villages to get to Granada city or the coast. Both are approximately 20 minutes from the house, with very easy driving on the new motorway. Lanjarron, the gateway to the Sierra Nevada, is only a ten minute drive.
